Klemencic victorious in Langenloise Austrian Cup

This weekend the team was active on both sides of the Canal the boy's in The UK and our Girls in Austria. The Riders in Austria where treated with the best spring wetter possible enjoying lots of sun and twenty-two degrees.

Blaza Klemencic won the 23rd Kamptal-Klassik-Trophy in Zöbing on the Heiligenstein (the most famous Riesling hill in the world). More than 400 mountain bikers from 15 nations, including South Africa and Japan, took part in the largest cross-country MTB race of Austria. Lisa Mitterbauer came in ninth.

Klemencic dominated

The Woman Elite Race was dominated from the beginning by Blaza Klemenčič. Directly from the start she put a mark on the race accelerating away from here primary components. Finishing with a lead of 1:22:01 in front of Anna Szafraniec (Poland) and Thereza Hurikova (Czec Republic).

Klemenčič was very content with her result; “ I have not yet won this race, I only finished second and third a couple of times. So this win means a lot to me.”
