Lisa Mitterbauer takes the win at Monte Tamaro

Lisa Mitterbauer won Today´s Monte Tamaro Race in Rivera, Switzerland. With a considerable lead ahead of Ramona Forchini (Strüby-BiXS Teamand) and former Swiss champion Sara Koba (Assos Werksmanschaft). Is was the first win as an Elite rider for the youngster from the Feenstra-Fel p/b Kenda Bike Team.

In the first round Linda Indergand was able to keep up with Mitterbaur but after Indergand run flat Mitterbaur none of her opponents again. At the finish line see had a lead from more than 6 minutes on Forchini. ,,It was a pity that Indergand had a flat tire because otherwise I’m sure we would have got an exciting head to head fight for the win’’, told Mitterbauer.

The men-elite race was won by Nino Schurter (Scott Odlo MTB Racing Team) who beat Julien Absalon BMC Mountain Bike Racing Team).

With the win for Mitterbauer and the third place from Roy Beukers in the Castricum Beachrace the Feenstra squad had a very successful weekend. ,,We had a good season start with already six podium finishes and that’s good for the confidence of all our riders and I’m sure there will be more successes to come’’, said sports director Robert Pintaric.
